Does anybody know where to get the blue LED board that is on the silver k750i? I see cnn.cn has the orange board from the w800i, but no blue...

it's actually white. the keypad just filters the lights to make it look blue.

Yeah, I just found that out browsing the se-nse.com forums. Anyway, I just ordered the orange LED board and W800 housing to make a black/orange hybrid...

Reason why the keypad light is either blue, white or orange. Just different filter.

Well yes, the blue is a filter, but the orange are actual LEDs. See THIS LINK

Yeah, I wish SE just made a blue keypad and be done with it! I wonder if I could 'peel off' the rubber piece from a silver pad and fix it to the back of a black keypad .. ?

I painted it satin black using an acrylic paint, as used by hobbyists and yep, I do have the W800i fw on my phone!

Yeah, the W800i orange keypad (available from cnn.cn) fits straight in - no mods! Just follow the How-To carefully and you'll get that coooool orange glow in no time...!

Ah, I've just ordered a K750i housing in silver for my W800i - since it has started to "queak" a lot - and the most annoying thing is that the camera lense cover opens every time i put my phone in my pocket or take it out of there.

So... My question is: where can I find that white keypad lightning instead of my orange one? Havent seen it on CNN.cn....

EDIT: You can find silver housings (Original) at eBay for reasonable prices. Be careful not to buy a fake though...

Funny, but you can't seem to be able to buy the white LED keypads on their on, only the orange ones ...

Try contacting one of the big/popluar sellers on eBay and see if they'll sell you one seperately.

marwan74 ... some say that there is a blueish tint to the keypad supplied with the silver front cover - maybe you could verify that when you receive yours.

I like the blue LED. I liked it on my T68i, missed it on my T610, was glad it was back on the S700i, and sad that there's no blue on the W800i keypad...it would be cool if I could change the orange LEDs to blue.

I was discussing this in another thread... Has anyone had any experience with the Silver k750 housing from cnn.cn? I'd like to swap that awful orange on my w800i for something a little more business-like.

i ordered the silver housing from cnn, i hope it arrives soon. thought i dont like the vodaphone icon on the shortcut key(or whatever they call it) i can live with it.

Yeh... I didn't like that either. I think i'm going to order the d750 housing instead and only use the middle and back plates to avoid all the T-Mobile branding. I'll probably use my w800i keypad instead of the d750 to avoid the T-Mobile symbol where the walkman key is. (It'll still be orange lighting, though...)

Got my silver K750i housing today. Fits perfectly, and just took me 20 mins to change to. But... The silver keypad isnt' good. Keys are to high, and the black navigation keys directly underneath the screen isn't aligned with the housing in depth at all. Besides, my W800's orange keypad lightning didn't had power enough to make the silver keys to glow. There is a darkblue filter in the keys. Orange isn't that bright so it doesn't work.

Changed back to w800i front and the rest silver K750. Not that happy... Hmm... Maybe should order a black keypad and see if it's better? And a white led-set for the keypad...

Couldn't edit.. Damn... However - it isn't really a blue filter. It's the keys that are made of a darkblue plastic actually...
