Between O2, Imate, Qtek, why are some cheaper than the other? Differences?

For most of the sites I've been searching on, although they're identical phones made by HTC...is there any reason why Qtek is around ~$100 CND cheaper than I-mate phones?
So that got me to thinking are there any differences?
Are there things like one company offers better software support, another company offers better tech help, another company offers better software packaging?
Good example, if you check out www.expansys-usa.com the Qtek 9090 is $594.95 and the i-mate pda2k (which is the same thing) is $784.95 (although that includes a bluetooth USB adapter...I don't think that's worth almost 200USD)
Another one i-mate SP3i is $359.95 and the Qtek 8020 is $304.95
Thanks

No difference except that I-mate has a 2 year warrenty and access to clubimate. Not only that but I-mate makes getting ROM updates very easy by there clubimate website. Qtek only has a 1 year warrenty and they currently don't have a website where to get updates like I-mate. ROM upgrades are harder to come by for Qtek phones from what I hear.
