Alternative to Mobile Phonetools for Outlook sync?

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

After having MPT completely wipe out my Outlook calendar during a sync with my phone, I'm done with it. I'm hoping I can get some opinions on what other software is good. So far, I've heard of DataPilot & MobilEdit. Has anyone here used them, or anything I don't know of? How do they work? I'd like something more like ActiveSync, where it just syncs when I plug in, but if I have to manually start the sync that's fine. I don't care about file system/modding/etc - other tools work for that. All I want is a decent two-way Outlook sync for calendar & contacts, and I don't mind paying a reasonable amount. Thanks for your help.

Did anyone ever get this answered. I too have about had it with MPT. Does the Susteen DataPilot or any other app do a better job at synching outlook (specifically recurring meetings)?

Thanks!

Check your local CompUSA, I was there a week ago and they had a software that synced with outlook. The software was diffrent for diffrent phones. It wasn't cheap though, I think it was around $50.
