P800 -- anyone able to record a conversation?

I can't believe it! I don't think it can be done! I loved that feature of the T68i !!!

I can't, voice memo won't record while in-call. Anyone else able to somehow?

Voicememo will not record the phone conversation because the mic is being used by the phone. The only way to avoid this is to have another mic pickup to be attached to speaker output. The smartphones seem to have this problem.

Are you sure that P800 can't record memo during conversion ?? Why?? Bengalboy, would you be able to figure it out ??

But what's the difference between that, and the mike being used by the phone on the T68i?

For some strange reason I think SEMC either did not want to hook up another output to the P800 phone portion or they just forgot to include the feature. I can run the voice recorder just fine during a call but the software will not let me record the call or a separate voice due to the mic being in use. The T68i apparently isn't using 2 different types of software but can only record one side or the other side of the conversation since there is a hook-up to the output of the phone. Maybe it can be fixed with a software patch.

The voice recognition on this phone is awesome, i just had to redo all of them for in car use, different noise levels for home and car thru some of the voice tags off.
