razr or nokia 6120???? any suggestions? - new to cingular

Hi,
I already asked one question about what phone to get (thanks for the help), but now I have narrowed it down to either the moto razr or the nokia 6120. What would you guys recommend?

I need a basic voice and text messaging phone, voice memo and very basic organizer functions. I'm not worried about the price because I can get both for free or close to it on serveal websites. I am also a little concered with durability. Its not like I abuse my phone but I have dropped my old phone now and again and can see this happening in the future.

any suggestions

it is not the wrong forum. to the op, it really is up to you. i have the black v3 razr and can tell you that i get service in a building where other nokias and motos must go out side!! read reviews, go feel the both of them, and have fun! good luck

I was reading reviews on that Nokia, and many of them were complaining about earpiece volume. For me, there is no way I would be able to get that phone, as I cannot hear out of my e317. So if you have good ears, the Nokia may work for you. The only negative I have about the RAZR (since I've never really used it, outside of just pressing a couple buttons at Best Buy), is that, ever since T-Mobile got the phone, everyone has one. Or maybe it's just my new school?? Every other person at Ohio State has one, so I probably wouldn't get one :-\

thanks for the replies. I think I am going to go with the razr. I currently have a e317 too and I have the same problem with the volume. Does anyone know if I can use a regular cheap ear bud hands free thing with the razr or do I need to go with blue tooth? I only use it when I drive thorugh chicago a few times a month since they have a hands free law and I dont want to spend too much on a ear piece.
