lgreenberg, I did search HoFo before I posted this question, as well as Google, Radio Shack, eBay, Amazon, etc. In fact, I've spent many hours today trying to find the answer to this simple question: Where in the Sam Hill can one find an LG C1500 USB Data Cable? I have found plenty of Serial Cables, but no USB's. Can someone please help and point me in the right direction? I bought these phones for my 2 children, and they want to learn a little about transfering data too. I have no problem with my Moto V400 and 551, so they are a little jealous.
Thanks a lot guys and gals, leonardface9
BTW adedude, thanks for your Step By Step.... guide, it was a lifesaver!!!!
I even followed your advice and tried to find the correct cable at Radio Shack, but I must be overlooking it.

I'm running into the same problem for what it's worth.
I did do some research at the us.lge.com site and see that the same model number usb cable that LG sells for the C1500 is compatible with a slew of other phones, a few of which are L1150, L1200, L1400, C1300, F9100, F9200, etc, etc.
I was able to find a site through another post on here that may be a good place to get the cable. www.wirelessaxis.com Price I was looking at was $10.99 for a usb cable, wall charger, and car charger (and that price included shipping). Seems for $11 it is worth the risk of it not working.
Now, only other problem is that of software to use. I've looked at DataPilot and they don't yet support the C1500 (at least that I could find). Also, the program I've tried in the past, Oxygen Phone Manager, seems to be for only nokia and motorola phones. I'm not thinking that BitPim is set up for this phone yet either. Last but not least, I've been trying the LG site with limited succes, as their US support page seems to have been down all weekend.
If anyone finds anything out on this C1500 phone, please, please, post any information you have.
Thanks,
Eric

I've put emails in to DataPilot and Handset Manager and both have returned the emails saying the phone is not yet supported.
I've heard that someone has emailed LG asking for software for the C2000 and none was available from them...out of desperation I put in an email to customer service asking the same for the C1500. We'll see what they say.
Has anyone heard any word on whether the QPST program everyone is using is going to work on the C1500 or C2000 phones?

USB data cables are readily available for the c1500 now. Do a quick google or go to www.mobileaction.com. But if you want to do mp3 tones don't bother, nothing works.
