Are you looking for OEM batteries? Because I got a battery charger and non-OEM battery for like $7 from eBay. I think the eBay store was called AccStation. The battery works pretty decently. Probably doesn't last quite as long as the OEM battery but it definitely works as a backup.

If you want the original SNN5696B...battery, there is no cheaper place to buy them. $41 bux no matter where you get it.

ive found it at a few places that are cheaper then that, smartphonedepot.com to name one...but with shipping and stuff i guess your right...

I've bought 2 on ebay for less than $10 including shipping. Genuine oem batteries. Just searhc for Motorola and the part #.
