P800 Camera and Freezing

I have a case for the P800 (targus PDA) and when I pull out the P800 I often mistakenly press the camera on button. How best to turn it off? Sometimes I merely open and close the flip but on occasion, the P800 freezes.

Also, when it freezes I take out the battery and reinsert it. Any better way?

Doesn't P800 has keylock ??

Use the Key Lock, also, it is best to hold down the power button for approximately 10 seconds to power down the unit instead of doing a hard reset. You will find a lot of your settings will be lost if you take the battery out and reinstall.
