Cannot connect 9300 to PC... need help (and yes i searched)

I simply cannot get my 9300 to sync with my dell laptop. I have tried sending files with and without PC suite to and from the phone with no luck and errors on the pc. "Cannot send file to selected device" or something similar is one of the errors i get. The pc will find the phone, but will not connect to it.

Then, when I have PC Suite installed, I can get the phone to be found on the phone finder with the bluetooth or cable connection, but when i try to select it, it is grayed out and is unselectable.... What in god's name is going on?

I have no idea what firmware this phone is running, as I got JUST THE PHONE for $320 (new) here in TX and the store I got it from had no info...

Hey Superbert,

Sorry I can't offer much help with your connection issue. There are a lot of settings on both your PC and handheld you will need to work through. Hopefully you can get it to go.

But I really wanted to ask you where your bought your 9300? You said 'a store' in TX. Was it a Cingular store? I didn't think these would be available until November. I'd appreciated hearing back from you.
