Siemens Sucks Big Time!

I have just seen the newly launched T68 from Ericsson and it is one awsome phone. All the new Siemens phones S45, ME45, C45 looked pitiful when displayed next to the T68. What's worse, I was only offered US$80 for my S40 if I wanted to trade-in for any other new models. US$80!!! The value of the S40 is free-falling like a rock! Bottom line is: not only has Siemens failed to retain customers by coming out with cool and competitive products, the value of its existing products are fast becoming worthless. If Siemens management doesn't do something fast, it will continue to lose money quarter after quarter, and many people who work for Siemens will keep losing their jobs.

Rapidly falling prices are common for all mobile phones. It's not Siemens specific.
The T68 isn't perfect, too:
- no external antenna plug
- very slow scrolling in email client
- only 2+1 channels for HSCSD
- graphical UI only for the first menu level

Yeah, T39 and R520 prices dropped like crazy. All mobile phone prices drop except Nokia, who still thinks it's reasonable to charge $500 for their outdated 8890.
