please help me. i bought a v1050 from vodafone greece. i use it in romania. no need unlock! i see on a lot of forum it has bluetooth but in my phone i can`t find it... so i used p2kmenu editor/usb cable to edit phone`s menu. i opened, than i transferred to phone seem 0032_0001.seem no changes happened. after few seconds, i transfer from pc to phone mma_ucp (V600, T-Mobile UK).backup.backup... phone restart and all the menu dissapear. Thx to smartmoto... i press master clear and phone resets to factory settings. OK!!! after that i tryed again to transfer mma_ucp (V600, T-Mobile UK).backup.backup to phone to see what happens. i connect smartphone , i press master clear, master restet, BUT NO CHANGES!!! now my phone is dad!!! PLease help me !!!

First of all, your phone doesn't have bluetooth and no seem editing is going to make it have bluetooth. Secondly, can you make it a little clearer on what you did to your phone?

Besides loading in the mma_ucp from another phone altogether? Not much.
Sigh a little seem editing with absolutely no idea of what you are actually doing leads to a brick.

First off, do you have a backup of the original v1050 mma_ucp? If so, upload that to your phone, restart your phone and you should be ok. If not, you will need to obtain an mma_ucp from another v1050 (preferably a Vodafone branded one in this case). If you can't do that, then last resort would be to get yourself a v1050 flex and reflex your phone with that. And read the stickies (all of them) before you attempt to do seem editing or uploading files to the phone. A lil reading saves you a bunch of grief later.

man o man.... smells like a dead phone to me... why on earth !!!! would u seem edited something from v600 into a v1050??? why, was there a guide that told you so?

Kaytar, you're not stupid, no on says you are, you just made a mistake, we all have. It shouldnt matter that your friends phone is from Italy, just make sure the firmware is the same. Thats the only advise i can offer, which i could be of more help

Provided the firmware is the same. You should be able to use Motokit to backup the files off his phone and then reupload them to yours. The only files that it looks like you hosed were seem 0032_0001 and the mma_ucp so those should be your target files to backup and send to your phone.

the mma_ucp is the file that basically is your menu, hence why you see no menu now.

And whatever you do, don't upload anything to your friend's phone or you may end up with 2 dead v1050s

)))))) i used leader gl editor 9.9... this make my moto v1050 live again... WOOOOOOOOW... the problem is i have wrong again!!!!!! i thing in this case my moto trully dead... i wanna check an option by leader gl editor and i check other option... my moto could not connect anymore in "normal mode" to save flex to phone

(((( the mobile only blink (power on and power off continuously)!!! - in this case it connect only in modem mode (in this mode i cannot transfer flex file to phone). only in normal mode i can send the file....

try holding down # and * while pushing power on the phone to switch it to flash mode. Then proceed to flash the phone with either a v1050 flash or a E1000 flash as they both work.
