I am looking at getting a new flip phone before years end. I have a Moto V551.

I was looking at the MPx220 but I know it has it issues. I am not a big fan of the razr personally. Any recommendations either now or phones to come.

You might want to check out the Nokia 6102 which is now offered by cnglr... it's got a good set of features... you also may want to do some recent reading on the mpx220, I believe, but I may be wrong that it's past issues should be fixed now by cnglr/motorola.

There's all sorts of other phones out there, it'd take way too long to mention all the nice flip phones out, if I where you, I'd check out phonescoop.com and just put in your criteria that you want/need in a phone, and it will show you all and any flip phones that match it feature/capability wise

Oh yeah I agree. I was kind of looking forward to mobile OS.

Main things I am looking for first and foremost is Signal, Speakerphone, durability and then all other features.

with that being said, I'd take a look at the Moto MPx220. its a very nice phone despite what some people might say about it.

i got a s710 and totally love it. only issues is talk time, but other than that its an awesome phone

as far as a flip phone. mpx is a nice phone
