Recent call log clears after switching Sims cards?

On my new V3, after switching sims cards and using my 2nd line, I switch back to my primary SIM, and notice my Recent Calls log are all erased (including recent dialed calls and received calls),
anyone else have this happen?

All Motos do that. It's kind of a dumb paranoid "security" feature so that if someone steals your phone and put his/her SIM card, he/she wouldn't have access to who called you and who you call.

I've had other phones do it too. What would be really nice is if your recent calls were stored on the card instead of the phone, and you could just take them with you, as it were.
Oh, it's SIM card, not SIMS card.
