S46 - Using Multiple NAMs

Through the graciousness of a user on another forum (sorry, I would have posted here, but had problems with registration) I found how to access the location where data for different NAMs can be entered into the Siemens S46 (you enter #7764726# and then press the call key). The question now is that if you have the phone registered with two different carriers, can you have two NAMs in the phone active simultaneously, or do you have to toggle back and forth between the two?

As background, the S46 is a replacement for a TDMA Nokia 6160. In the US, I use the phone with AT&T (originally Cellular 1 when I first got the phone). Because I was also travelling to Mexico fairly frequently, I also got an account with Telcel, which I configured as a second NAM on the Nokia. This allowed me to receive AT&T roaming calls from callers dialing my US phone number, but via the second NAM entry, also have a Mexican phone number which callers from Mexico could dial to reach me, while avoiding the ugly international calling rates they'd have to pay to dial my US AT&T number. The drawback with this arrangement, at least with the Nokia unit was that I'd have to manually select one NAM or the other, meaning I could either receive calls to my AT&T number or calls to my Mexican Telcel number, depending on which NAM I selected to be active, but not both phone numbers simultaneously.

I'm hoping that the Siemens S46 might be a bit more flexible in this regards, and that it will allow both NAMs to be active simultaneously, allowing phone calls made to two different phone numbers to be received without any switching. Does anybody have any experience or ideas about this?

Thanks much!
