Nokia 6682 or Moto ROKR?

Both seem like really cool phones.. only about a $50 difference between them. I do like the Nokia because of the 1.3mp camera and expandable memory slot.. but I also like the Moto because of the integrated itunes..

which to get... .

opinions?

well, if I really had to choose between the two, I guess my vote would have to go with the 6682 just because its a Symbian phone which can do soooo many more things than what the ROKR can do.

by the way, iTunes isnt all that its cracked up to be.

well since I had or have both I can help you out here, the ROKR was an ok phone but I heard too much bad ish about the phone and one of my friends who is a Cingular rep told me that was gonna be a recall on them, on the other hand the Nokia 6682 is an all around better phone cause it does more period! the camera is better the memory is better. the one thing about the ROKR is that is only stores 100 songs, best idea is to wait cause there wiil be two more phones out inna months time with better memory and more capablities. So I would just recommend going with the 6682 and if you have paper(cash) to ball around with come late November early December go out and get a Nokia 9300 or one of the new itunes phones. EASY!

Skip the ROKR, typical Moto garbage.

I guess I'll wait a few months then.. and use my employee discount to get my whopping 30% off .. I am leaning towards the 6682, but have to say that I have a V551 right now and love it... I have no problems with Moto, even though a lot of people seem to.. it's a different type of phone... that's it.

But that 6682 does seem pretty freakin cool

Maybe I'll keep an eye on ebay and see if I can find any good deals.

There is nothing wrong with the performance of ROKR as a phone. It's very good. A lot of Nokia fans complain about Motorola phones based on their past experiences. ROKR, as a phone, performs great. It has one of the best speakers for MP3 playback.

Between ROKR and 6682, 6682 definitely has more features; it has the better camera, it's a smartphone. It's a little huge if you are picky about the size of the phone. On the other hand, ROKR has iTunes support. But, I hate the restrictions of only 100 songs on the phone.

Among two, 6682 is a better choice. But, ROKR isn't bad at all. You can't go wrong with any of these phones.

get a 512 meg memory card and download the free OGG player for the 6682. unless you're truly wedded to itunes, it's the way to go.

6682 is in a completely different league than the ROKR. I love my 6682 and I would suggest it to anyone.

It depends on what you're looking for in a phone. If you're looking for a music-oriented phone, then get the ROKR. If you want a Smartphone that can do a number of other things besides play music and make calls, then get the 6682.
I wouldn't even consider the ROKR. When a compelling musicphone comes along that would replace my current phone, Palm and iPod, then I'll get it, but right now, it's just not high on my list of priorities. I will be getting a 6682 in the near future when it's time to upgrade.
But, like I said, it depends on what you want in a phone.

I had two ROKR's and have played with a 6682... The only thing the ROKR does better is MP3s because of itunes. If it is the most important thing to you, get that. If you want more of a buisness type phone which you can do basically anything with, the 6682 is for you. I am just bothered by the size of the 6682.
