Product Information
VolumeCare will break the "Sound Barrier" on your Treo! You will now hear people loud and clear!

VolumeCare increases the maximum volume levels for each Treo speaker. Users have reported volume increases up to a 75% in their handset volume, speaker phone volume and wired headset volume. VolumeCare will also allow you to adjust your voice volume (aka microphone) so others will hear you *loud* and clear.

VolumeCare also allows you to set pre-defined default volume listening levels for each speaker type on your Treo. So you can preset the listening level for your earpiece separately from the Speaker Phone.

New Features in version 4.00Upgrades to v4.x are no charge for registered users. Download the trial up upgrade. Will recognize if you are already registered.)

* New call volume graphic display. The default display is replaced when Volume Care is active. The new volume display meter is now calibrated with the "Boost" setting. This means the display will now truly reflect the current volume setting.
* New "Recommended Values" Menu option. This option will allow you to reset all volume configuration settings to GoTreo recommended values.
* New Add-on module to control non-phone application volume settings.

Add-on Module Feature Set (purchased separately):

* Allows for the selection of applications that will have their volume controlled by VolumeCare. The selection of applications is made in the Global Options menu screen!
* Allows for the independent Boosting of Rintones!

(Disclaimer: DO NOT configure VC to MAX volume levels! I am not responsible for broken speakers or blown ear drums....)

Features:

* Increases volume up to a 75% in your handset, speaker phone and wired headset volume

Where have you been hiding Larry?

Posted by: lgreenberg

I haven't gone anywhere.

Hoping someone can confirm a few things:

1.) Does this program lessen the battery life?
2.) When it says "independently adjust ringtones" would this apply to Lightwav?
3.) Is there still an echo on the other end if we turn it up via this program? I've avoided buying this program all along, because whenever I turn the regular Treo volume up (side buttons) people on the other end complain of an echo. The more I turn it up, the lounder the echo is for them.

Any help is appreciated, as I am deciding on purchasing this today.

Doesn't do it for my TREO 650. The people on the other end tell me there is no echo.

I love VolumeCare best product I bought for my Treo 650

I'm in complete agreement!!! Great program...

Volume Care has solved all of my "echo; low volume" related problems and I agree the service that GoTreo provides is first class...

It's great...everybody should have this application on their Treo devices. I can now walk down a busy street with loud traffic sounds and still hear the caller in full loudness.

i think VC is the only program that makes the Treo a usable phone.....

Volume Care is the best purchased that I've made for my Treo 650. I wished that Ringo Pro and some of the other applications worked as well as Volume Care. Maybe the makers of Volume Care should get into some of these other kind of applications.

Yeah, it really is the best program you can have on your Treo 650. If you don't like loading with 3rd party apps, you NEED to get this one anyway. Without it, the earpiece and speakerphone are useless in crowded areas.

You guys have convinced me. I'm about to buy this program, thanks!

you won't regret it!!! I assure you...

Does this program do anything with your ringtones? Can it assign tones to specific callers or use Mp3 tones without 3rd party players? Or do I use VC, LightWav, and pTunes all in conjunction with each other?

I'm not trying to start a flame war, but you shouldn't NEED a program like VolumeCare. The Treo should already be loud enough from the factory, but Palm doesn't like to make usable products. I actually owned a Treo650 GSM and it was really hard to hear the other person.

Your Correct but it is nice to have this program that fixes the Volume Issue. Some Treo 650's don't have an issue with Volume. My Friend and I both have Cingular TREO 650's his volume was great mine wasn't but I purchased VolumeCare and now mine is louder than his and I have no more issue.

GREAT PRODUCT

VolumeCare hasn't really made *much* of a difference on my Treo-650. I purchased it mainly because I figured it was a pretty small investment in supporting a software developer who actually gives a da**m about customer service.
