Any way to have a 9500 remember the WEP key

I love my 9500 but Ive noticed that every single time I use the WLAN connection, I have to type the WEP key. Is there any way that it could save that setting? I have looked but I can't find it. Maybe I just missed it...

Thanks!

When using the EasyWLAN option to connect, the phone will prompt for a WEP key if one is required. You can, however, create an Access Point for this WLAN connection if you frequently use it, which will store the WEP key.

From the desk go to Tools
Then Control Panel
Scroll down to Connections
Then, in the right pane, select Wireless LAN
Press the Menu key to tab over to Networks
If in range, you should see your WLAN. Highlight it in the list and press the Softkey for Create Access Point.

Here, you can enter the WEP key required to access your WLAN. Save the access point.
Now, when an internet connection is required, select your saved access point instead of Easy WLAN, and it will use your saved profile information.

Hope this helps!

That did the trick! Thanks so much. I also changed the priority so my access point is the first one on the priority list as opposed to the Easy WLAN.

I love HoFo!
