Can anyone please tell me what software to use for my MM8300. I want to be able to download my pictures, videos and backup my phone list to my computer. I have seen futuredial, datapilot and usb suite, but which one is the best? It seems like non of these programs are capable of doing al 3 things that I want. Anyone have one of these and is happy with it, especially with the downloading of pictures and videos? Thanks

Those programs work, just not for that phone. No verisons currently support the 8300.

There are now three programs that are compatible with the Sanyo 8300:

1. Mobileaction www.mobileaction.com
2. Datapilot www.datapilot.com
3. FutureDial www.futuredial.com

I have all three of these and like Mobileaction the best. None of them will handle ringtones other than midi (bummer) and none have a file manager that works with the 8300 so you can upload games, apps, etc.

UPDATE: Mobile Action software has updated their program for the Sanyo 8300 and now has working file manager. I have not used it yet and will report later on uploading games, etc.

ugh i cant sync up using any programs i think i have the wrong usb cable...is the 8200 data cable compatible with the 8300 or is that the problem???

The cable for the 8100, 8200, and 8300 are the same. I was using the cable from my 8100 on my 8300, till I bought MobileAction. They have a proprietary cable that works with their software only.
