pre-loaded ringers on vx8100

i'm sure there's already a thread on this but i haven't been able to find it. anyway does anyone know if it is possible to delete the pre loaded ring tones on the lg vx8100? because they're pretty lame. also is there a way to change the startup/shutdown animation and sound? btw i have v04 if that makes any difference. thanks guys.

you should be able to turn the sounds off

i know that i can turn them off. i just want to be able to remove them so i have more room for my own.
