I'm looking forward to getting the 9300 from Cingular when it comes out next month.

I like the form factor, the PIM, and the ability to connect to the internet.

However, I have no pressing need for instant blackberry type Email an messaging services.

I see that Cingular will be offering Blackberry services for $35 or $45 per month. Do I have to subscribe to those services to connect to the Internet? Or are those fees just for the push Email services?

Anyone know?

you don't need to subscribe to a blackberry service to retrieve email. All you need is your GPRS to be activated.
