Yep, same problem with my 6101. I don't dare take a call while driving; I have to put the windows completely up, turn the stereo completely off, and jam it into my ear to be able to hear slightly.

I want my old 3220 back, that thing was plenty loud enough.

I had the same issue, but here is a quick tip. While talking over phone, increase the volume by depressing the up arrow available towards the left of cell phone. Sound is pretty good loud after this change. No need to put the windows completely up etc.. etc..

Ohhh really! thanks, i had no idea what those buttons did,. Wow, arnt i an idiot, this whole time the volume control was right at my finger tips, thanks !!!! LOL -

No, but honestly i know, i have to pull the windows up too, there has to be a way to fix this,

Also, anyone experiance a like 3-4 sec delay when opening the phone to recieve a call to it actually connecting the call, i blow out my ear everytime i place the still ringing phone to my ear thinking opening it actually would let me answer the phone.

im so sad with this phone!

I have a 6101 and 6102 and both pickup the call right away with no delay and I have a hard time hearing on the phone and I can hear just fine with both of them. I really like both of the phones. Very good quality, the 6101 has hit the floor a few times and no problems with it. Maybe you have an older version of the firmware that causes the delay with answering or something.

I don't have one right here in front of me, but I know you can go in to the menu and turn on the Automatic Volume Control. Try that and see if it helps.
