CC Fraud Help

I'm a Cingular Agent in South Carolina and found that someone has gotten my credit card number and used it to pay several Cingular cell bills. They must have thought I wouldn't notice since I am a Cingular agent. I called the Cingular Fraud dept and got no help at all. They will not chargeback the account and I am unable to pull it up with only the account # in POS. If someone has access, I would appreciate the help.

Write a letter to your credit card company contesting the charges.

Not only contact your credit card company, also check w/ Collections to start an investigation. Fraud doesn't care about credit cards. I had something similar happen with my bank account and went through my bank directly to resolve the issue. I suggested collections to have it officially noted to your account.

I've been battling Cingular and Visa for 3 weeks now. Cingular says it is up to the CC company to refund the charges... the CC says "no go" since it is a "Business Visa" and for me to read the contract... only personal Visas carry the fraud protection.

I am looking for info on the Crook, via his Cingular account # to take legal action. I need a name and address to file the warrant. Like I said before, I only have his Cingular account # and can't pull him in POS. He must be out of my market with a strange #9344*****WAS . Anybody seen an account number like this?

This is clearly a job for the police not Cingular, you or your cc company. If that account is out of state that will up the anti for the thief.

BTW; did you attempt a chargeback (as apposed to protection) with the cc company not Cingular? My Business Visa does have protection, but I understand bank debit cards may not.

Even accessing that Cingular information may lose someone his job.
