I have tried to load new ringtones on my LG 4500 and using bitprim, it does not recognize any port, I have 232 selected on my phonebut, alas, I am stumped, can you help me out of my quandry?

Do you have the drivers installed for your cable?

I opened the cd that I recived with the cable, but open file does not seem to be able to be recognized by my computer, I thought the new hardware wizard might pick it up, however, it does not even open, when I right click to open and hardware wizard starts, it says it cannot locate the drivers, ser9pl.inf when I go to the device manager and click on modem, my port, or phone is not listed.

In the directions I received with the cable it says to download a hot fix, 822603 from Microsoft, which is supposed to help with usb devices,

I think maybe Bill gates is spending to much time in the woods in Washington state.as I am still in the dark maybe I will be stuck with ring 1 thru 8 forever, ;-)
