Titile says it all, I just got my w800 form fedex and i need to know how long to charge it fo rthe first time . I called S/E and they said 6-8 hours. Can any one else throw a educated opinion ?

guy in the shop said to charge it for 10-12 hours, then 2 hours at a time after that, and no longer, because it will screw the battery

i charged it for 10 hours..

then since i was playing with the usb crap it obviously wanted to charge while plugged in.. which could suck..

and what do you mean 2 hours after that and no longer? it definately won't screw up the battery.

u should drain the remain battery out first then charge it for 6-8 hours.
