phone not going into bootloader...

Alright, so I am trying to flash from shoey's MP to CD 1.6 so I fire up multiflash on my gf's laptop and the phone is connected just fine and all the drivers are installed so when I go to begin the flashing multiflash flex tries to bring my phone into bootloader and that's as far as I can go. My phone basically powers off (but you can still see previous menu screen... as it starts to fade away) and it just sits there indefinately. I can turn the phone back on just fine and everything works. Has anyone else had this happen to them? I'm currently in Ireland and I can't wait to get back to the states so I can use my PC to do it, maybe it's just her laptop. Any thoughts?

Ok, nevermind. For some reason the correct drivers for the bootloader weren't installed. So I powered up in Bootloader and then connected it, installed the drivers and flashed CD 1.6... only I forgot that it was in Russian and I don't know how to change it.

To change language to english:
MENU -> Параметры -> Основная настройка -> Язык меню -> English
