What are the differences between iPod from HP and Apple iPod????

I'm looking for 20-30GB iPod (my mini is getting stuffed up) and saw two different kind of iPods. Are they the same?

There are no significant differences between the two. Function and appearance are the same, except for the HP logo engraved on the back of the HP iPod. The HP iPod is pre-formatted for use with a Windows based computer. You can't purchase AppleCare for your HP iPod. You will have to buy an Apple iPod to get it.

I read somewhere that the HP version has a better warranty. But in September HP also decided to discontinue selling their iPods although I would think they would honor their warranty for those who have already purchased one. If you have a Brandsmart in your area, I noticed the 6GB iPod + HP mini for $199. Who knows, maybe the prices might go down a bit further.
