Do all UNBRANDED nokias not see the VM number from SIM?

I have a few unbranded nokias, they work great, except they ALL ignore the voicemail number stored onto my SIM. Is this like that on ALL?

damn it this is true.
i just got my 6230b flashed from cingular 4.43 to unbranded 5.50 the other day.
the phone number also isn't seperated into usa style xxx-xxx-xxxx style anymore
