two options:

1. immobilizer via keyless entry. each time the keyless is used, it generates a new code.

2. immobilizer via fob, which is worn on the keychain. must be within 4 inches of ignition for the car to turn over.

whaddaya think?

That sounds more like a LoJack to me, a anti-hijack tracking device. BTW, I have one of those (LoJack) installed in my car. Makes easier to track when someone steal your car. It's a good device, I would recommend a LoJack. You won't have to remember any password or anything, just keep that little thingy in your pocket or keychain.

I too have LoJack and I would highly recommend it if you are worried about getting your car stolen.

Dude, do you have early warning device or the Alarm system thing???

I'm thinking to upgrade mine into a security system because I don't like my stock alarm, they suck

I paid around $800 for the whole thing set up. I purchased it along with my car, so I don't pay any monthly fees nor yearly. I have it because I drive a Honda Accord
