I got all kinds of mp3's on my phone some are ringtones that I would like to beam to a friend. is there a way for me to do this. all I see is that I can beam programs and regular oem ringtones.

my ringtones are obviously on the sd card. and I got a 600 so bluetooth is not an option

I have beamed mp3's over to a friends V505, v551, and v600 via bluetooth using FileZ. Did photos the same way to my wifes V600 via bluetooth. I can honestly say I've never used IR, but I see the option to beam in my list so I assume it's possible. I've had FileZ for a while and I think it's a freebie, you might run a search for it here or on treocentral.com and see what you come up with, if you cant find it let me know and I'll look too - or see if it's on my hard driver and "beam" it over to you.

I would think that you should be able to use FileZ to view files on your SD. Just select the file and hit send, and choose via IR. Hope this helps.
