Do you use a case for 903

As title says. Do you use one? Sharp doesn't seens to have made an oem case for the 903. Why?? One thing concerns me is the len being exposed all the time. It will get scratched easily like this 902. Unlike those high end model Sony Ericsson phones that have cover over the lens.

There are a few silicon cases listed on Ebay, but the lens area is also unprotected. I can't believe that Krusell doesn't even has a case made for 903.

Is there any solution as to how to protect the len when it is not in use? Any suggestion?

Not too much you can do, buddy. If you read the owner's manual, notice it says do not expose the sun to direct sunlight.

I keep mine in my pocket, if it's not on a desk. my wallet protects it on the outside, and my let protects it on the inside. i don't keep my wallet in my back pocket because if you sit like that, it damages your spinal alignment.

There is some silicone lens covers in the market. I don't know if there is one made to such a big lens as ours (the biggest I saw were for a 9mm lens), but the guy who gave me these might know if there is one or at least how to reach the manufacter...
It's a quite simple solution really, very similar to those screen covers you see on e-bay, so I guess it might be easy to adapt.
Regarding results however, I can't tell if it makes a difference or not... I'll check it out and post again.

So which one did you buy? Does it fits perfectly? Too tight or too loose or just fits perfectly?

Where is your location? I wonder if they ship to Canada and how much..

Can you post some pics of it with the phone inside?

i haven't bought one yet. but i still have my s700i case.. and it works well with the 903sh.

I found this following pic in an Ebay listing. It has some plastic over the len area. Anyone knows what it is? Is it some sort of protective covering that comes with the phone when it is brand new? I think it is better than nothing to protect the len..

its just a thin piece of plastic to protect the lens. it comes with the phone. it comes off so easily. i tried keeping mine on lol

I am planning to buy one of those Krusell Horizontic S-Wide case. There is some openings at the bottom of the case. Do you think the opening is approx the same area as the handsfree connector on the 903 so I am able to connect it with the phone in the case?

I don't know about you guys... but I never use any lens cover or case with my Sharp phones

from good old GX22,32, 902 and now 903 and none of my phone have any lens damages or scratchs (except the 32 where the crome part is as easy to scratch as the iPODs) and those skin case for the 902/903 just doesn't work b/c it makes your phone not closed poperly.

I mean what's the point if you cover the lens or get a case that "protect" the lens or even stick something on it ... it will only be more hassle to take it out to take pictures with something that sticks onto the lens it will only make the pictures looks fuzzy (I tried that with my 902) imagine you stick a screen protector onto your digital camera lens

Anyone has a definite answer to my question? Here is a close shot of the opening on the bottom of the case. It looks to be very close to the handsfree (Video Out) connector on the phone..
