I know I need an extension card and I already ordered two, one for my troublesome Cingular Treo, and one for my girlfriend's flawless Verizon one. Please click below if you would like to comment as this issue remains unresolved:

At any rate, I just did a hard reset the other day which wipes out everything on my nearly brand new Treo 650 if I'm not mistaken but when I attempted to sign on to howardforums.com on it, it displayed an error message saying "Page too large to load". My girlfriend's VZW one apparently display errors messages when she tries to download most everything she wants. Why is Palm shipping units with so little memory??? I don't mind getting the SD cards but why do I have to find out the hard way?

Dude, after all your troubles with the Treo, I would go running back to Symbian 60 phones.

Personally, I did. Although my Treo 650 never gave me nearly as many problems as all the ones you've had. I guess with electronics sometimes it's hit or miss. At any rate, good luck with your next phone

Thanks and co-incidentally, I have a 6620, too. It's awesome. I just don't want to accept that I might not be able to get a working Treo on Cingular. You know what I mean?

My Treo loads Howard Forums just fine. I have Cingular service. I make posts and everything on Howard Forums from my Treo. It loads the same pages as my desktop.

Yeah I know what you mean. One thing that helped me load HoFo was setting www.howardforums.com/usercp.php? as a bookmark, this takes you to your log in and it loads ALOT faster than the main webpage. This should work or you can just use the wap. It loads alot faster but the pages look nothing like they do on a pc or thru the Treo's browser. Hopefully you can get it working because it is a great experience when its working right!

No problem here...I don't surf alot on my Treo but thought I would give it a try since CrunchDude's have so many problems. Seems to work fine. Maybe you just got a bad unit. I hope it works out for you.
