SX66 - Losing Screws?

I lost one of the two screws that holds the sliding portion of my SX66 together. Cingular initially refused to replace it under warranty, claiming that things that fell off or out of the phone wasn't covered. I eventually got them to give me a replacement unit under warranty, but it is the first firmware revision and is now having many of the problems my initial phone did before I flashed it with the Siemens update (that was later removed from the Siemens site). Now it locks up on a fairly regular basis, and the phone sometimes makes no sound or acts as if it is muted until the phone is reset.
I'm curious if others have had the same problem. My main concern is the screws falling out.
If this is a common problem -- which Cingular, Siemens, and HTC (the makers of the phone) all deny -- it may be possible to either get the companies involved to do something to help their users, or there might be some legal action that could be taken to compensate everyone who paid so much for these phones.

yeah, i had the same problem with my screws falling out but luckily i had a spare unit that i previous crushed the screen so i took it out of that unit...but before i did i used this substance called lock-tight that you put around the threads to keep it in there better and then i just check it periodically to make sure their tight...you can find similar products that do this at any hardware store as well as the special screw driver you need for them...hope this helps you....as far as the latest software updates you go to this link http://sx66-blueangel.home.comcast.net/ to update to the newest software that is the most stable for the SX66...well, good luck and let us know if this helps....cheers.....
