BitPim, 8100, Bluetooth, on Mac OS X - help!

I've searched all over and I can't seem to find out how to make BitPim see my LG VX8100 phone over Bluetooth. I think I understand the process of how BitPim should work and all, I just can't figure out what I need to put in as my "COM Port"... If anyone has had success using BitPim with Bluetooth on a Mac, could you walk me through it? Thanks!!

So, how did you get this to work? I have the same setup OS X 10.4, G5, D-Link DBT-120 USB bluetooth adapter and using BitPim to try and connect to an 8100. ALWAYS get the "no phone detected / recognized" error and don't know which "com" port to use eithe (BitPim thinks it's dev/cu.LGVX810-BluetoothSerial-1). You seem to have gotten things to at least connect so what did you do?

Thanks in advance.

i don't have a vx8100, i have a 9800, but i would think the procedure is the same. first i used the bluetooth utility to pair the devices, then you open bitpim, select your phone, and then manually select your port, you should see a bluetooth serial port with your phone's name in it. i had success this way with the 9800, would think it would be relatively the same method with the 8100.
