MPX200 speakerphone problem

i have an mpx200 that has been flashed to SmartPhone 2003 and i am currently using it on Rogers. The speakerphone doesn't work for outgoing calls (no sound when activated), however incoming calls are fine. the unit has no problem playing mp3 or video. any idea what's going on with the speakerphone? thanks in advance.

Are you pressing and holding the "call" button down AFTER you have initiated the call? Some people reported not being able to start a call in speakerphone mode, but being able to switch to it after the call was initiated.
If that isn't working, you may need to simply reflash.
