that would work and no you would not you would be charged for every KB... you need the laptop connrct package on your account to do edge card

If you want unlimited internet with tethering/laptop card, then invest in a laptop connect plan...they're $55/month for that ability. The media net/bundle plan is only accessing internet from the phone. There is a different access point which is easily distinguished by the server when you access the net.
