im seriously. how much $$ is that?

no overhead costs, cingular pays me tons for nothing every month, for little work.

i just dont know if i can handle it and how to go about doing it.

you need infrastructure. loads of computers and tech support to get everything set up. Yeah you'll need about 100K for inventory

Do you have any capital? Do you know any venture capitalsts to invest in you? Do you have good relationships with creditors?

Develop a business plan, or assume partnership with someone who knows about business plan while you can be in charge of the logistics. For any partnership, lawyers must be utilized. The business plan should be sold to the venture capitalits, investors, and creditors. The key to a succesfull business is not how well you use your own money, but how well you use other people's money.

100k for a online dealer only? hmm.

sounds like 100K is just for the inventory. Not necessarily for your computers, web design and maintence, time to employees working it or setting it up, the ability to live while you wait for your cingular check, things like that. I imagine it's not just a piece of cake. Why don't you ask someone who's done this or attempted this. It'll give you a better idea.

Either that or sign up for a $40.00/month e commerce scripted site and limit your models/inventory to a few phones. Call around for a cheese phone insurance policy (no overhead) the conduct business like an eBay type of startup.

Do some creative marketing like a no profit accessory (Chinese made) deal and submit to TechBargins and the like for free RSS exposure.

In Va. You can do an LLC. For less than $200.00.

Oh yea find someone that has an account with a few carriers until you can go on your own. I can Imagine there will be many to jump at the chance for part of you.
