I recently got my v3 and ive noticed when i am calling or when im hanging up the lcd flickers a bit and the display is not 100% still.. everything is still visible though.. Is this a cable problem? or what could it possibly be? LMk thanks

Sounds like you have a flex cable issue...especially if it is when you open/close the phone. It could also just be a loose connector on the display board where the flex connects to the display module...the latter is an easy fix as you can open the display section and add a small piece of foam (like what is present on the sides of the user buttons) can beplaced on top of the connector to add pressure when the case is reassembled keeping hte connector tight. If you just got the phone then you should take it back for a warranty replacement, the only thing I don't like about warranty replacements is that they are typically refurb phones and not new...any GOOD and REPUTABLE cell store will give you a new phone and send that one back to their supplier...but then again how many are REALLY GOOD. Nope this is completely normal, Lord F reported the same finding over in MoMo, and I have th same problem as well.

The screen gets bright whenever a call is placed, nothing to do with when it opens or anything...

Ahh! i see I noticed that once i am talkin it does get way brighter thanks for your inputs.. what about the 2nd post about the foam thing? would that help at all?

When you said "flickers" I took that to mean that it actually was flickering multiple times during opening/closing the flap...the foam only helps when the connector is loose. If it is the dimming/brightening of the display during the menus and calls then it will not help.

I just got my V3 and I noticed it flickers too (constantly), kinda like there is some electromagenetic interference. I didnt notice this at first but after 10+ minutes of personalizing the phone, this issue presented itself.

Is this considered normal or should I return the phone and get a replacement?

My screen goes bright as well whenever the mic is on (i.e. making a call, using voice commands). It seems more bright at the bottom of the screen. It didn't do this before. I'm wondering if it's related to editing the mic gain SEEM.

edit: Well no I just ruled that out by reuploading the stock gain table. I'm pretty sure that was the only modding I've done in the past couple months. Not sure what else could be causing it. Maybe a hardware flaw?

Yes its normal, dont worry about it. If you start to worry about it, you should be happy with this screen. Plus I've never had the dust under the LCD problem with this screen, while older ones have this problem.
