How much is the Nokia 6102 for full price?

Thank you!

Posted by: amendelson

letstalk had them for $150 and now i just checked to make sure but it looks like they raised the price to $200. thats probably the cheapest you will find it non-contract.

I just saw one at Target as a prepaid phone for T-Mobile for $129. Don't bother activating the T-Mobile account and get it unlocked.

Posted by: triple5soul8781

I've heard if you send the internet and mms settings over the air that it will work. Not for sure though.

In Raleigh Corporate Owned stores, $209.99, no commitment.

It does work if you use the nokia site. I've already set it up on three t-mobile branded 6101s.

I want to get this phone. They were out of stock at my local Tarrget. I asked for a raincheck though and hope they get it in soon.

Posted by: Rock3nrenigade

Im with the above poster...This will be a great backup once i get my 8125

Posted by: kiztope

I've got one for sale! Feel free to make an offer!

Posted by: mashi

99.98 or something ? it is below our cost.. I really wonder how much they got the phone for ?

Posted by: imabballer

Call me crazy but i thought i remember seeing that the 6101 doesn't have the 850 band and uses the tmobile 900?? That's why cingular's model with the 850 band is called the 6102, instead of the 6101.

Posted by: Michael95GT

There are 2 versions of the 6101.

The "Euro" version is 900/1800/1900
The "US" version is 850/1800/1900

I'm off original topic a little, but I see this thread has died down a little and my question doesn't warrant a new thread.

When will Cingular offer the 6102 for a discount price? They had it online for $39.99 a few weeks ago but it went back to its original price. I know I can get it free other places, but would rather sign a contract through Cingular.

Just wanted to let you guys know that Target is running the T-Mobile Nokia 6101 for $99.88 this week.

I'm going to pick one up tomorrow.

Posted by: mashi

$99.88 with activation or just the phone itself ?

Sorry should have been more specific. It's the T-Mobile To Go pay as you go phone. No activation required.

Posted by: magicski

Now who will unlock it here? PM me I have one. I can get it unlocked forr a few bucks... But I figured I would check in with HOFO to see if anyone knows what they arre doing and can help out. PM me.

I finally got by Target today and picked up a 6101. I know this isn't a high end phone, but it seems to work pretty well. So far I've been able to use it everywhere I use my 6010.

If you plan to buy one of these to unlock and use with Cingular, be aware that some of these phones will not unlock. It seems that T-Mobile may have blacklisted some box serials used to get unlock codes. My phone was manufactured 11/20/05 in China and I had no problems unlocking it.

Mine was manufactured in China on 11/18/05. I called up T-Mobile and they filled out a request form and I should have it within 24 hours. If T-Mobile does not help I will get mine unlocked some thru another channel.

Posted by: CaptShadow

Has anyone else took advantage of the Target deal on the 6101?

Also, I wanted to clarify something from my other post. If you can't unlock you're 6101 with codes, it can still be sent off and unlocked.

Posted by: magicski

I called T-Mobile and they filled out a form for me 'cause I was traveling outside the country to a 1900mhz area. (That is the story... ya.) They said I would have my code in 24hours... I called back in 24 hous and it was on file. It worked. Wow I guess if you are a postpaid custome you have to wait 90 days and if you are prepaid they give it to you right away? HMMM... Stange...
