I was just wondering if anyon had nay news oin these 2 phones because i plan to leave nextel and get one of these flips.

I think I just might sell my 5600 to get the 9000. Only difference is the ev-do right? I'll have to go to the sprint store when they get one of these to see how much better the ev-do makes surfing/streaming vids.

Same design format as the 5600 and screen and mega pixel camera is the same...EVDO is the difference...not enough to entice me to get the 9000

Well, it's also Sprint Music Store enabled and will have more built in memory than the 5600.

Plus, it's about the same price as the 5600. One would be stupid not to want a phone that's better for the same price ($379 before instant rebate). Plus with EV-DO there are plans that will allow you to use your phone as a modem.

That's a big difference from the 5600, since you can't do that now that phone on the old Vision network.

If you like streaming music and video, then you shouldn't be disappointed. I hear it's a big difference.

Launch was supposed to be 27th but I guess it got pushed to the 31st. Some stores already have them in stock and some already have them on display. Our store has them on display but not in stock. We didn't get any shipments today so unless we get anything tomorrow we will not get anything till Monday.

Ordered my 9000 through Telesales last night. It's not on the website but they have a few in the warehouse.

i held a sanyo 9000 in my hand at work(RS) tonight. it looked really nice, i didn't have much of a chance to use it but the screen looked incredible
