Switching phones from sidekick

A friend of mine recently managed to break her sidekick II, and it will be some time before she will be able to get another one. I am loaning her my old Samsung x105 until she can get another one, but I've got a couple of questions:

1. How do I get the SIM out of the sidekick specially. (I've heard you pull down the side bumper, then pull the battery out and the SIM is ontop).

2. Once I get the SIM into my phone, will it have her Sidekick's contacts, or were those on Dangers servers?

3. Once I delete the Sidekick data options off my T-Mobile account, what will happen to my registation on Danger's server. I don't want to loose my pictures/contacts/etc if I don't have to.

1. Remove the bumper at the upper left corner. Under it you will see a metal tab. Press it down towards the bttom of the sidekick and the sim should relase a little where you can pull it out.

2. Contacts are stored on Danger's (I believe).

3. I dunno. I'm guessing that they may be stored there for a short time. You might want to see if you can load them to a pc from the TMo website.

Tmo offers a service for $9.99 where you can transfer all of your info from your sidekick to Microsoft Outlook. its sends it wireless and is VERY easy. the info is on their site. Log on to you account and look under communication tools or go into your local store. I had to do the same thing. I switched fom a side kick to a black berry.

the first 2 have been answered, and I happen to know the third...

My Sidekick Color broke last March or April. I was pissed, so I put my SIM back in my V600 and canceled my Sidekick Services. Well, I got a Sidekick 2 a couple weeks ago, and I called T-Mo and re-added them to my account. I logged in with my same old username and password, and I was ready to type in a million phone numbers, but I look in my phone book, and all my contacts that I had back in March were in there. So were all of my emails...

I'm not sure about pictures.. but that is what happened with mine
