I think black would rise in price, the reason is because I heard that in HK the 903Sh black are in high demand. But not sure maybe just rumors!!!
Around $780 cad or so??

Does HK sell black 903SH? I thought that they only sell SX833 which is the red one?

They're demanding the JP ones, b/c there's only red ones for SX833

not heard of that in hk yet, just looked around in the shops in hk today, no price rise, cost is same for all colours hk$2680-HK$3000.

Rumor has it that they've discontinued the 903 and are coming out with a new 903 where the firmware is going to be harder to hack into due to all the test-mode unlocked 903s out there.

As for the black 903 prices to be higher than the other 2 colors, i personally think thats BS, some guy on ebay was also talking about how black 903's are more expensive but I found other listings with all 3 colors being the same price (JPN version that is)

The reason why some black 903s are more expensive than the other 2 colors is probably b/c they are of the UK 903s, which can be FULLY unlocked via vodafone. Only downside is that the UK 903 only has 1 black theme (JPN has 3) and only comes in 1 color. So if you're like me who prefers the white over the black and red, you're stuck with the JPN 903 test-mode unlock.

Still hoping someday a 100% unlocked JPN 903 will be out...but seems like it won't ever happen

Another alternative is to just purchase a 902. To my knowledge all 902 can be fully unlocked and can be flashed with different firmwares. The only downside is the interface (being older) and the 2.0 mp camera vs the 3.2 mp camera, and also the video recording..

it's just changing the hardware, it's not discontinue of the 903

Do you know if it is a completely different look or just the software just to make it more difficult to unlock?
