I just ordered the 903v on plemix.com they say it is unlocked but ive heard people saying it wasnt really unlocked for every region . I dont know why plemix would be so misleading but I just need to be able to know if the phone will work with t-mobile if I buy it . anyone know the truth ?

don't know about the "SH" version.....but I've been using the Unlocked UK version in Houston on Tmobile without any problems.

I got a red 903SH from them and it works fine on T-Mobile. Just remember to switch the network from 3G to Auto or GSM.

I need to return mine and get a UK version.

why are you getting the uk version ? I would appreciate the knowledge. I just ordered a white one from plemix and it was 70 more than the red one . is the white one the uk model? I am not a real phone expert : that being said do I really need the uk phone ? will the jp work alright ? why are you returning ? thanks in advance.

The UK models are black, they don't have white or red.

The two biggest problems with the Japanese version is that there's no predictive text (such as T9 or iTap) for English and your contacts won't sort alphabetically and you can't search on them. Seeing as how most of my phone usage is SMS, that's just useless.

i use JPN 903SH with T-Mobile in CA. It works just fine.

How do you get by without T9? I can multi-tap faster than anyone I know but after having T9 I just can't go back

i have a dealer line unlimited minutes there is almost no reason for me to t9 .plus i have 2 lines and I can designate one for texting and use my 7100 t which otherwise is a piece of sh?1@! ! I mostly use my phone for talking with customers and taking pictures so this is the perfect phone for me; but I hear where your comin from man .

oh god (or anybody else) please give me a way to T9 on my 903 as I sit here in Japan and message more than life itself. They swapped the T9 dictionary for a s*itty bilingual option that *HAHA* will predict the english word if I start typing in the katakana for the japanese translation. Kicker is that the japanese prediction mode is even better than T9. I guess Im learning Kanji much quicker cause its 10X easier to talk in Japanese when your texting... back to reudo.co.jp??
