what is a good free program to use to make shorter clips from my mp3s? I tried mymp3 and the sound quality of the recording SUCKS. I saw somewhere that you can use BitPim but I have v7.37 and I dont see anything on there for this kind of thing.

BitPim can't clip mp3s....

search www.versiontracker.com or www.download.com, you're bound to find something good there

Has anyone ever hear of Audacity (Sarcasm right here!!!!). There are stickies for this. I use Audacity and its is the simplest free program for creating ringtones from mp3's. Sorry for the vent but lately I have seen a lack of trying from people who post.

Ummm....I read the sticky on Audacity and I thought that it sounded extremely hard and confusing. I dont know anything about channels and sample rates. I just want something that will play my mp3 and let me pick the start and finish place and make a new mp3 from it.

I've spent many hours on this forum since I got my phone, and I try not to post unless I really need to, because seeing others post about something when the answer is right under their nose is frustrating. I have managed to use bitpim and my data cable on my phone from the posts on this forum. So, I READ the posts. I dont appreciate the sarcasm or the vent.
