Does anyone know where I can get a patch for the Sanyo Multimedia program so it works on windows xp? I've got the program to work with windows 2000, but that means I have to borrow my friends computer everytime I want to upload/download files...

Any ideas?

Don't know why you have issues with the Multimedia software for the 5000. Before I switched to my current 5300, I used my old SCP-5000 and the 5000 software under Windows XP all the time without any trouble. I gave my 5000 phone and same software to a friend who also uses XP, again with no problems. You may have an isolated issue.

Yup .. I've been using it on XP for sometime without a hitch. Works well.
