Any Nokia buffs out there have the nokia Trio ringtone as a midi or wav file I could get from them? Really loved this ringer from back in the day. I did multiple searches and no luck.. Seems like a very popular ringer to have but appears exclusive to nokia ringtone format..

Yep, checked with them to, they have the classical trio menuet. Not nokias

The trio ringtone is like a golden fleece....

I don't understand why a ringtone
would be on one nokia phone (6200) and not
another (5100).

Is there a wap site where all of the nokia
provided ringtones can be downloaded?

My favorite ringtone of all time was
"Trio" from the 3390. Anyone know
if there is polyphonic version of
this ringtone.

go to ebay and search for nokia6230 ringtones....they are selling cds with 100000 ringtones, wallpapers, games, apps.....maybe you'll find it there.
p.s. its only 3-4 bucks

Although I did not find anything called "Trio", ringtonenation.com usually has a lot of Nokia ringtones from various phones. Best I could do.

I don't think there's an easy way to pull them off of your phone. Even FExplorer doesn't pick up the files in the Nokia system. Or I'm looking in the wrong spot.

EDIT!: I LIED! Z:\Nokia\Sounds\Digital (or) \Simple

But isn't that phone lower than Series40? Is there an equivalent to FExplorer?

Has anyone found the standard nokia ringtones for this phone yet. I'm sick of being frightened everytime the phone rings....i'm looking for the genuine Ring Ring..Trio...Low(my favorite of all nokia ringtones)..any of these standard timeless tones that nokia felt the need to exclude.....pay or free sites..i dont care...and believe me i've searched and continue to search....

I have an old 8290 .. I would like to transfer one of the old tones, "trio," to my new 6230 (and/or 6102). Is there a way I can do this? Or is there somewhere I can find the Trio ringtone?

I've messed with the infrared on both phones and nothin's working..

Thanks... I looked back and I did find your post but it looked like a bunch of "#'s and whatnot.. #3, #d, #5.. etc.

It didn't make much sense to me - and getting it entered into the 6230 /6102 didn't happen..

What do I need to do with that text? Those sites you posted with your ringtone didn't make sense either.

As for the "trio" ringtone you posted, when I *did* enter it into the midi player, it played a song that didn't sound at all like the trio I remember.

I got those ringtones to my 8801 by playing them on my old phone and then recording them on my 8801. Now I had the 6230 and I thought that had trio? Anyway recording the tone with the recorder feature of the phone came out to have really good results. I was quite surprised. good luck

i took it upon myself to record it for everyone, and convert it into multiple formats. one has a space between it and the next ring, and the other is just the ring with no space inbetween, should your particular phone add space itself when it repeats the mp3/wav
so, here they are:
Trio (MP3, No Space)
Trio (MP3, Space Added)
Trio (WAV, No Space)
Trio (WAV, Space Added)
