Treo 650 / Network View?

Does anyone know of a way that I can see what network I am on using my Cingular Treo 650? I received a SIM update a few weeks back and my service has been horrible. I have a feeling I am now "homed" on the AT&T network here in SoCal (which is horrible). I have been trying to find a way to see what network I'm on, but can't seem to find it.

Any suggestions?

I'd like to know also. There must be some app out there that can check. I've searched but haven't found one yet.

This is a page for the network select hack which I think is what you want so you can see what towers are there and select them.

Excellent! This works perfectly and is exactly the type of thing I was looking for! I now have the "Select Network" option in the phone menu and can default my Treo to the T-Mobile network here in SoCal!

THANK YOU!!!!!

Happy to help, you are welcome. I appreciate the thank you since many times people do not let you know if it worked or even say thank you.
