7100i problem: Max connections opened....?

on my 7100i i am getting that error message with ramble aim. If i restart the phone, the problem is fixed for a little while. I looked around in the settings, nothing looked helpful, but then again ive only had the thing for a few days.
any ideas? Is it possible to view all the open connections and close them manually?
