Network problems after accident

Hi there

Regarding a SHARP GX10 mobile phone using the Vodafone network, UK.

I hope someone can help me here.

First off, I'll get the embarrassing side over with

I came in last night and went to the toilet, while I was there I got a text, and.....yip, you've gussed it, I dropped the mobile phone down the toilet pan ! I know, I know, I'm clumsy and stupid.

So, after last night and all day today, it seems to have dried out a bit. It's powering up OK, the screen is fine, and I'm "navagating" through the phone with no problems. My only problem is I can't find a network. When my phone "searches for network", all I get is a "no service" message on the screen.

Anybody any ideas? I would be eternally grateful !!

Maybe the antenna is shot. Any chance you have a warranty with Vodafone?

No warranty, it's over a year old now.
