Are they?
The v180's, I mean? The one's Cingular GoPhone sells.
Just wondering. If I could pop my T-Mo SIM in there (and later on, a Cingular SIM).

Anyone? Concrete answer?
I'm going in 15 minutes to a store that sells them, would love to know...
No disrespect, mc87243. Smiles.

But they work for Cingular plan SIM's...?!
Awesome.
Spanks.

Yes, a GoPhone is no different than any other Cingular phone, so you can insert a postpaid SIM in it, and it'll work.

This is going to rock.

My local WalMart is selling v180's packages...
only thing is, THEY ARE v600's. I'm dead serious, I had her open the package and everything at the kiosk.

After I get it unlocked for my T-Mo SIM, this is going to be sweetness. The "v180's" are $59.99. Can't beat that!

Really? Damn, time to hit on Walmart tomorrow...gf needs a new phone, and either a V180 or V600 would be great for her.

To clarify, people not that I'm back at the pad:

The display v180 case has a v600 on display.
4 or 5 of the boxes were obviously tampered with somehow because I said "yeah, that one, the black flip one" and she reaches in, and pulls out a v180 box.

The box contained a v600.

The rest of the v180's were in the GoPhone plastic "headphone packaging" that annoying plastic bubble that you need a swordfish to cut through and open.

So it was just f-up on the part of Southern Tennessee WalMart employees.

Go figure
