import email to send via RAZR?

is it not possible to bluetooth a text file from my laptop to my RAZR, and then include it in an email I send from the phone via either text messaging or the email client? Obviously the phone has the capability (you can import and then insert graphics files, for example), but I can't see where the software allows selection of a text file to send. Am I missing something?
